LEGAL INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data when you visit Enrico Wildlife or enquire about a photographic print.

Draft updated: 25 October 2026

Complete before publication: verify the controller’s identity and address, retention periods, hosting, service providers and actual analytics/cookie configuration.

1. Data controller

The Enrico Wildlife website is operated by the controller whose identity and postal contact details must be provided here before publication: [FULL NAME / BUSINESS NAME, CONTACT ADDRESS].

For privacy-related enquiries, contact enricowildlife.photo@gmail.com.

2. Personal data we collect

When you submit a print enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, selected photograph, print options (size and paper), message and details needed to reply.

When you access the site, technical systems may process connection and security data such as IP addresses, request dates and times, requested pages and server errors. Actual logging and retention depend on server configuration.

The administration area may process credentials and technical information needed for authentication and security; it is not intended for public visitors.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use enquiry data to respond, prepare a quotation and, if requested, arrange a print: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Separate consent is not required for these purposes.

If an enquiry results in an order, further processing may be necessary to perform a contract and comply with applicable legal or tax requirements.

Technical data strictly needed for site operation and security may be processed on the basis of legitimate interests, subject to an appropriate assessment. We do not use enquiry details for marketing without a separate valid legal basis.

4. Handling print enquiries

Requests may be stored in the Laravel administration system and forwarded to the controller by email. We may reply to discuss print sizes, paper types, availability and payment options.

If you place an order, we may request only the additional details required for invoicing, payment and delivery. Any print, payment or delivery providers will be identified or communicated when actually used.

5. Recipients and service providers

Data may be processed by the controller and, where necessary, service providers supporting email, infrastructure, maintenance and, for orders, payment, printing or delivery.

Gmail/Google is intended to handle email notifications. Before publication, the actual providers, their privacy roles and any safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area must be checked and documented.

The website is intended to run on self-managed infrastructure, but domain, connectivity, email or other providers may still be involved.

6. Retention

Enquiries that do not become orders will be retained only as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and related correspondence. Specify the actual period before publication: [RETENTION FOR UNCOMPLETED ENQUIRIES].

Completed orders and tax records may be subject to statutory retention requirements. Actual retention periods for technical logs and administration data must also be specified: [LOG / ACCOUNT RETENTION PERIODS].

7. Website analytics

An administrative dashboard showing page views, photograph views and print enquiries is planned for the future. This policy does not describe it as already active.

The design goal is aggregate statistics with minimal personal data and no profiling identifiers. Before launch we will assess what is actually collected, the appropriate legal basis, any cookies and retention periods, and update this notice.

8. Your rights

Where applicable under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).

To exercise your rights, email enricowildlife.photo@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Security and changes

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards to reduce unauthorised access and loss of data, although no internet transmission can be guaranteed risk-free.

This notice will be revised when site features, vendors or processing activities change. See our Cookie Policy for details of cookies and related technologies.
